    TEAM OVERVIEW

    The Global Client Solutions Group (“KCS”) is KKR’s dedicated investor solutions team. KCS, formerly known as the Client and Partner Group, or CPG, was first formed in 2009 to invest in and focus on KKR’s relationships with current and potential investors. Today, KCS consists of over 200 executives located in 13 offices across four continents and in 10 countries. The KCS platform is primarily organized around two specialized focus areas: Sales/Relationship Management and Product/Strategy Management. KCS seeks to “connect the dots” across all businesses at KKR, from our global Infrastructure investing teams to Private Equity, Real Estate, Credit and Capital Markets, to deliver all of KKR’s intellectual capital and solutions to our investing partners. The group’s long-term objective is to diversify KKR’s client base to include new investors, across all regions and institution types, and to raise capital for the Firm’s expanding product platform through developing, structuring and maintaining collaborative partnerships with our investors.

     

    POSITION SUMMARY

    KKR’s Real Estate Strategies Team within KCS is seeking to hire an Associate based in New York. The role will support KKR’s global Real Estate business in two primary capacities: 1) focusing on deepening our relationships with our investors and supporting KKR’s growth in Global Wealth and 2) managing the internal and external processes required to facilitate new capital raising and deliver a best-in-class client experience, including developing marketing materials and client reporting, including portfolio commentary, managing client-specific requests and processes as well as supporting strategic capital raising initiatives for KKR’s global Real Estate business. This individual will provide support for both KKR’s Real Estate investment and portfolio management team as well as KCS Relationship Managers across all aspects of the business in order to drive growth and effectively service client relationships.

    The successful candidate will collaborate with investment professionals, finance, legal, compliance, tax, marketing and KCS Relationship Managers. Specific responsibilities will include developing deep knowledge of the current portfolio, deal pipeline and overall market dynamics with the aim of being able to speak as a surrogate for the investment and portfolio management team in the fast-paced and dynamic wealth market. We expect a successful candidate to be highly skilled at supporting live fundraising efforts for real estate products, leading technical diligence processes with clients and project managing across internal and external stakeholders.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The candidate will act as an essential connection between the global sales teams, our clients and the real estate investing business. We are looking for team-oriented candidates with strong analytical backgrounds, demonstrated attention to detail, outstanding oral and written communication skills, maturity, presence, sound judgment and a capacity to lead a team.

    • Understand and effectively communicate complex alternative investment capabilities and market dynamics in a clear and simple fashion, in both verbal and written form
    • Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc internal and external-facing content including marketing materials, reporting, client communications and market-focused materials
    • Manage and coordinate with key stakeholders to facilitate complex diligence processes for existing and prospective clients
    • Serve as the internal point of contact (or “hub”) for client requests; Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
    • Manage or assist with ad hoc projects and assignments

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2-5 years at an investment bank, asset management firm, or wealth manager with prior client-facing experience or a desire to become more external. Ideally, candidates will have been in a group that offers exposure to private markets products and have a good understanding of the competitive real estate investing landscape.
    • Proven ability to manage demands of multiple workstreams and projects in a fast-paced work environment, including ability to prioritize time efficiently and handle heavy workloads while remaining attentive to detail
    • Positive attitude with a willingness to help out wherever necessary and desire to manage a team over time
    • Aptitude for critical and creative thinking across the quantitative and qualitative spectrum
    • Quick learner with clear intellectual curiosity and self-motivation
    • Interest in broader fundraising and product development across both Private Wealth and Institutional clients
    • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including the ability to read information/situations from varying perspectives and tailor messages to suit different audiences
    • Meticulous organization skills with an emphasis on strong attention to detail
    • Technical and aesthetic mastery of PowerPoint and Excel
    • Content driven with the ability to communicate complex topics to a wide range of audiences
    • Maturity, presence, sound judgment, and ability to form and express opinions and ideas effectively to cross-divisional teams including senior management, operations and sales
    • Strong relationship development skills across a wide range of key stakeholders

    This is the expected annual base salary range for this New York-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.

    Base Salary Range

    $150,000—$175,000 USD
