Inspired Capital is looking for a full-time Chief of Staff to work in lock-step with our Founder and Managing Partner, Alexa von Tobel. This is an opportunity to be her right hand across all elements of running the firm, serving as a trusted thought partner. The Chief of Staff will have full exposure to the investment process, from sourcing exceptionally high quality deals to diligencing potential opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supercharge Alexa in her day-to-day, including shadowing meetings and identifying opportunities to connect the dots
• Conduct research into emerging industries and run analysis to support strategic decision-making for Alexa’s pipeline
• Compile extremely thorough diligence and compose detailed investment memos on the pros and cons of potential investments
• Manage ad-hoc special projects thoughtfully, adapting to the evolving needs of the firm
• Enhance organizational processes to drive efficiency across our workflows and across the team
• Represent Inspired across the broader tech community, making meaningful connections to our network and community

Requirements

• Strong self-starter, with a commitment to learning
• 4-6 years of investment experience (i.e. venture, investment banking, private equity, hedge fund)
• Proficient in modeling, market-sizing, and presenting data-driven and qualitative analysis
• Detail-obsessed; you don’t miss a thing
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly with everyone from senior members of the team to portfolio founders
• Passionate about entrepreneurship and the startup ecosystem
