    Capricorn is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as Manager, Venture Investing - Technical Investing Associate.     • Key Duties:
    • Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities in the venture capital and private equity sectors, with a focus on transformative and sustainable technologies.
    • Develop and refine financial models to assess valuation, returns, and risks associated with potential investments.
    • Lead due diligence efforts, including market research, industry analysis, and the evaluation of management teams and business models.
    • Collaborate with portfolio companies to drive growth, enhance operations, and align strategic objectives with Capricorn’s investment philosophy.
    • Prepare comprehensive investment memos and deliver presentations to the investment committee, outlining findings, risks, and recommendations.
    • Monitor the performance of portfolio companies and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and investors.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to Capricorn’s mission and investment strategy.
    • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, or a related discipline; advanced credentials such as an MBA or CFA are advantageous.
    • 4-7 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or a similar field.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis tools.
    • Experience in sustainable and impact investing, with knowledge of ESG principles.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively.
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
