    Job Description

    Role Description: Goldman Sachs is looking for a highly motivated Analyst to join the Global Healthcare team in the Investment Banking Division. The Global Healthcare group at Goldman Sachs provides strategic advice and services across a wide range of sub-sectors, including Biotechnology, Diagnostics/Life Sciences, Healthcare IT, Healthcare Services, Medical Devices, and Pharmaceuticals. 

     

    As an Analyst, you will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of our Healthcare team, working on some of the most complex financial challenges in the market today. Whether advising on a cross-border merger, structuring an IPO, or refinancing debt, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve major milestones.


    How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

    • Analytical Rigor: Create and analyze complex financial models, performing scenario analyses to examine the effects of various strategic alternatives for clients.
    • Presentation & Communication: Organize and prepare high-impact presentations that explain industry trends, discuss client options, and recommend strategies to meet client goals.
    • Transaction Execution: Participate in and conduct due diligence sessions, a necessary component of financial transactions (M&A, equity, and debt).
    • Client Engagement: Maintain consistent client communication and collaborate with senior bankers to structure and execute transactions.
    • Knowledge Growth: Gain deep exposure to the Healthcare industry and the broader investment banking landscape, developing elite skills in marketing, sales, and corporate finance.


    Minimum Qualifications

    • Strong academic record with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
    • ~1+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or a related financial services role.
    • Proficiency in corporate finance and valuation methodologies (DCF, LBO, merger consequences, etc.).
    • Strong analytical background with experience working with large and complex data sets.
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
